This is an announcement that our Technical Training Fridays will be starting up again beginning Friday, September 16th! Technical Training will go from 5:15-7:00 on Fridays for the following dates- 

 

September- 16th, 23rd, 30th, 

October- 14th,21st, 28th, 

November- 4th

 

The cost of the entire program is $75 and is open to any players born between 2008-1999. All trainings will be led by Cory Weaver, our Assistant Director of Coaching, as well as other select CVU Coaching Staff Members. We will be keeping the coach to player ratio at 10 players to 1 coach. You can register here on our website by using the hyperlink and selecting Technical Trainings from the dropdown menu. 

 

We are excited to have this program return to the club as it will provide a very beneficial outlet for players of all ages to improve their individual technical abilities. These training sessions will be primarily focused on building technical skills such as fast footwork/agility with the ball, passing and receiving control, as well as ball striking ability. Players will receive 1 hour of technical training followed by small/large side game play to conclude the session. 

 

Adding these sessions will allow the players of our club to follow closely the U.S. Soccer Model of 3 Training sessions to one game per week. Furthermore, players will be able to take many of these training sessions home with them in order to improve and work on their skills without the guidance of a coach. We hope these technical trainings will create a positive environment to help improve the skill of our players and also the teams at our club.
